After the war Hirohito's position grew in Japan...

All the pictures are from after World War II. There were really no pictures of Hirohito publicly shown in Japan from pre-World War II. He was hidden from the general public as the government wanted to keep an image of Hirohito as God.

The following are reasons that Hirohito became a true leader after World War II
1. He ventured out to other countries and created bonds with world leaders. For example, The United States and Japan have a very strong friendship.
2. He modernized Japan investing money in his nation. 3. After the war he went out and supported his people, taking part in the reconstruction of his country. 4. He was no longer a "God" but a real man. He was still someone to look up to but he was someone to related to as he openly loved the same Disney characters and took part in the same activities as any other human being. |
